THE BRIEF
Hyundai wants to create a TV ad to celebrate its IONIQ Hybrid model winning Best Hybrid at the 2019 WhatCar? Awards for the second year in a row.

THE IDEA
Creating a visually mesmerising film, to explain how hybrid technology works
in a never-seen-before way.

To do so, we made a drop of fuel the absolute hero of the ad, showing it filmed in super slow motion as it falls through the air. Charged with electricity mid-flight, the droplet is able to ‘do more’, showing what petrol power can do when electrified by hybrid technology.
